Fundraising event for The Confluence building

More than 170 people attended a gala event hosted by the Castlegar and District Chamber of Commerce on May 6.
The event raised more than $21,000 for The Confluence — the chamber’s new multi-use 7,000-square-foot building that will bring economic development, tourism, and local business supports together under one roof.
The event featured celebrity impersonator Tracey Bell as well as a string quartet and local musician Jason Thomas.
